Our best website design club session yet – with awesome code results

Who says you can’t teach primary school children to build websites and code? We don’t. The results speak for themselves. The kids did the following with amazing results:

  • Hard coded a ‘div’ (box) using HTML on a page on their websites
  • Correctly used the right syntax to name their div
  • Reference that name in some CSS (Cascading Style Sheet styling code) using the correct brackets, colons, properties and semi-colons etc
  • Added in their height and width, then styled it using CSS gradients, borders, border radius and shadow properties

Here are two really creative examples of what can be achieved. We think those kids are AWESOME! 🙂
